It’s the night before Mother’s Day and I’m pretty pooped after my photography show today at the Vienna Garden Faire. The event elicited gratitude both as a mother and as a daughter, with my eldest foregoing sleep to help with set up, my youngest getting himself off to his SAT test independently, and my 82-year-old mother helping with sales.
Since I’m all out of writing juice tonight, I’ll send you over to the Huffington Post, where I’ve been invited to be a regular blogger. Yay!!! Check out my inaugural piece “This Mother’s Day, Give Yourself the Gift of Mindfulness” here: http://bit.ly/mothersdayhuffblog.
Wishing you a joyful and mindful Mother’s Day! I’ll be spending time with my family in the garden and taking a full day’s break from connectivity with the rest of the world. Ahhhhh……
