This will be short and sweet. I just wanted to send you a shot of color that my cold and muddy garden gifted me yesterday.
Today it’s once again rainy, grey, and bone-chilling outside here in the Washington, DC, metro area. We want this all to be DONE — winter AND the pandemic!
So many of us are hitting a wall, even with light at the end of the tunnel as more and more people are receiving their COVID-19 vaccines. Hang in there, friends! We’ve got this!
When we remember to pay attention, nature always finds a way to remind us to be hopeful. The crocus promises that spring is on its way. That is one piece of certainty we can rely on.
I hope this shot of color shifts your mood in a positive direction — even just a wee little bit.
With gratitude and wishes for your good health and resilience,
Martha
P.S. Another motivator for this post is that I needed to drown out the drab, sad bathroom scale photo from my last post, which I have also updated with a little more context.
