Whew! We are just one week into 2023 and I can’t believe how quickly my batteries have recharged and refreshed me after my depleting December.
Last month’s challenges are such a gift to me now. The moment on Christmas Eve day when I told myself I didn’t have time to respond to my best friends’ group text of simple Happy Holiday wishes because I was too busy preparing our traditional family dinner will stay with me forever (and never happen again).
I have spent the past two weeks resting, reflecting, journaling, and setting clear-eyed intentions for what I want my life to look like going forward. This year’s priorities will be about tweaking my systems to stay laser focused on purpose and streamlining my work to increase my impact while maintaining the spaciousness I need for my own well-being.
My guiding question as I am planning my year:
“At the end of your life looking back at the work you are doing today, what would stand out as meaningful about it? What way of doing this work would make it more meaningful?”
