Greetings, friends! I’m finally back on my feet after my extended battle with the norovirus last week. Just in time for the Women’s March on Washington this Saturday – yay!! Stay tuned for more about that exciting adventure.

In the meantime, I wanted to give you a heads up about two offerings I have coming up in the next few weeks.

The first is a collaborative workshop event for my friends in the Washington, DC metro area. Here’s the skinny:

“Organizational Well-Being: Why a Balanced Mind, Body, and Soul is Good for Business”

When: February 8, 2017, 8-10 a.m.

Where: Conference Center, 1420 Spring Hill Road, McLean, VA 22102

What’s it about?

If you’ve been following here for a while, you know that true well-being can be achieved through mindfulness, physical health, and inner grounding. What can that look like in a business setting?

My awesome friends Friderike Butler of Butler Communication, Carolyn Bagdoyan of Heart Tree Yoga, and I will team up to make a business case for mindfulness, body awareness, and conscious communication. Improved performance, productivity, creativity, and customer service are just some of the outcomes that translate into a better bottom line.

Space is limited so don’t delay!

And now for my next big announcement.

On Wednesday, February 15th, I’m launching my…

30-Day Meditation Challenge with Personal Support from Author and Mindfulness Expert Martha Brettschneider

I hear from folks all the time that they are convinced of the benefits of mindfulness practice both from personal stories like mine as well as the mountain of neuroscience that backs up the positive health and wellness outcomes of meditation.

“But I just can find the time to do it,” they tell me. “I’ve tried using an app, but I can never sustain it.”

I get it, because I’ve been there.

The fact is, no matter how determined you may be, it’s too easy to sleep late or skip meditation sessions when nobody else is watching. And what if you have a question? Even if you have access to a meditation group from time to time, the deepest benefits come from daily practice. And yes, “daily” means every single day.

Research shows that it takes 21 days to create a habit. We’re going to kick-start your daily meditation habit and take it a whole 30 days.

I’ll be with you every single day, starting at 6:45 AM eastern time.

Here’s how it will roll…

You’ll dial in to a conference call with me a couple of minutes before 6:45 a.m. At precisely 6:45, I will guide the group through a 10-minute meditation.

If you have to hang up after the ten minutes are up, no problem. But I will stay on the line until 7:15 to answer questions and provide tips on other ways to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life.

My economist wiring will keep this process efficient and focused, since I know you need to get started on your day.

So what do you think? Are you finally ready to get serious about establishing a regular meditation practice?

Here’s the best part.

What value would you place on increased calm and inner peace, higher productivity, creativity, efficiency, and better health?

Probably more than the price of this program.

On a daily basis, my 30-Day Meditation Challenge with Personal Support only costs as much as a cup of coffee.

I didn’t even use Starbucks as my price point. I used my local indie coffee shop’s price for a medium drip. No fancy schmancy latte or cappuccino. Just a plain cup of Joe.

30 days X the price of a medium coffee (and rounded down) = $67

Pretty awesome for a whole month’s worth of personalized meditation support, encouragement, and accountability, don’t you think?

And with the myriad of ways that an established meditation practice will help you wake up to your life, as well as work more productively and efficiently, that’s a pretty high return on investment.

I’ll be sharing more about the program as February 15th approaches, but I wanted to give my regular readers a chance to sign up early before I market it more broadly. Space will be limited because I’m committed to this being an intimate group.

Reserve your spot today on my shop page!

I can’t wait to get started!
